The 2007 Mount Horrocks Riesling
Very pale straw rimmed with lime green.
Very pretty, delicate, floral bouquet of white flowers and gentle tropical notes. Racey, lively and juicy wine that simply screams ‘drink me’.
Stephanie has finished a wine that’s bright crisp, fresh and lemon-citrus filled, supported by fine mineral-like acidity and a touch of talcum powder. It’s vibrant and joyous – a wine to enjoy immediately or up to 10 years.

The
2006 Mount Horrocks Riesling is pale
straw with a distinctive lime edge/rim. Delicate yet
intensely perfumed bouquet of orange blossom and nashi
pear.
A
very lively, beguiling wine that displays all the hallmarks
of great dry riesling - citrus floral and mineral notes,
intensity, length and crisp acidity. It is bright, crisp
and intense, fills the mouth with vibrant, textured
and weighty lemon/lime and pear fruits, and lingers
crisp and fruity.
A
wine that begs you to drink it now, whilst young and
fresh, but if you are able to ignore its urging, will
be terrific anywhere from three to ten years of age.
