2009 Mount Horrocks Watervale Riesling

Glistening pale lime appearance in the glass.

Vibrant, tight citrus aromas open up to divine lime blossom and musk.

A beguiling, bright and attractive wine where the bracing lemon-sherbert-acid framework is fleshed out with layers of pristine floral, citrus and mineral flavours. It’s mountain stream fresh and steely, clean and long. Calls for steamed shellfish now or baked fish or poultry when it’s had up to ten years in the cellar.

2008 Mount Horrocks Watervale Riesling

Very pale lime green – incredibly bright. Fragrant, delicate, pretty aromas of lemon blossom, spice and a touch of pineapple tropical notes. The citrus impressions dance across the palate in this spritely wine that’s mouth-wateringly juicy, filled with pristine lemon-lime fruit notes and mineral-like, steely persistence. It’s delightfully refreshing and has incredible mouthfeel, at once slippery yet firm, with a crisp acid close.

Partner with shellfish or steamed coral trout. Should develop beautifully over next 5-8 years.

"A sensational Mount Horrocks, refreshingly perfumed and infused with green apple, fresh pear, lemon and lime flavours. "
