2008 Mount Horrocks Watervale Semillon

Complexity and delicacy are the hallmarks of this excellent wine. It has vibrant, lively varietal flavours of lemon, apple, herb and minerality combined with textured, slightly creamy yeast-lees complexity, gentle spicy oak and a solid acid backbone. It’s a generous, long-flavoured wine that drinks beautifully alone and will pair well with a wide range of medium-flavoured dishes. Quite simply, delicious. With patience it will develop further in the cellar over a decade.
