IF YOU thought good Semillon could be found only in the Hunter, Barossa and parts of WA, think again. This Clare Valley example is a stunner. Richer than a young Hunter but not as robust as a Barossa, this is creamy and intense yet has style and elegance with a fine, long finish. Would be ideal with grilled or pan-fried scallops.
