Mount Horrocks Watervale Riesling 2010

I reckon Stephanie Toole makes some of the finest and most beautiful balanced rieslings in the country. Her ’10 is a stunner – delicately perfumed with a hint of florals and some citrus. It’s surprisingly mouth-filling for a Riesling, with soft yet precise acidity and nothing harsh. Very satisfying, with a persistent finish. A great match for seafood dishes from sashimi to poached rockling with ginger, or spicy options. Just don’t smother it with too much chilli.
