2011 Mount Horrocks Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep magenta.
Opens heady, becoming brooding, with forest fruits and a herbal, bramble edge.
Very elegant, structured and long. Those forest fruits fill the mouth, all dark berry and chocolatey, flowing to a tapestry of flavours and textures interwoven with surprising smooth tannins, all elegance and length.
It is at once rich in flavour yet light in weight – a beguiling contrast making for appealing drinking now, yet should age well for up to a decade.
