2013 Mount Horrocks Watervale Riesling

By Max Allen

I’m in a bit of a bind, here. You see, the last thing I want to do is encourage the immoderate consumption of alcohol. God forbid. But the best words I can think of to describe this scintillatingly delicious young riesling are “thirst-quenching”. Seriously, it’s a super-tangy, grapefruit-pithy, outdoorsy white wine that encourages uninhibited, open-throated quaffing. See what I mean? Perhaps the best way to put it is like this: guzzle responsibly.
