The Mount Horrocks Semillon Vineyard is on distinctly weaker, rocky soil. The vines struggle and the crop is kept in check, resulting in great depth of flavour. Mount Horrocks Semillon demonstrates long lingering lemon and spice flavours complemented by creamy lees complexity and a touch of French oak.

A soft and citrusy experience with light, fine talc-mineral notes, some alpine herb characters, a touch of nougat and honeysuckle florals with dashes of lavender, too. Quite a bit of volume and texture, almost a richness, but hauled back in the bee-sting-like finish of wild honey and piquant, pithy, bitter herbal things. Complex, layered, wildly delicious and so interesting.
