Mount Horrocks Rosé 2020

This wine, the forth release of Stephanie’s delicious Provencal-style dry rosé, shows what can be done with a straight-forward but strictly no-compromise approach to making wine. Made from shiraz grown at her Alexander Vineyard, it is organic, unfined, vegan and vegetarian friendly and delicious!

The juice is allowed just two hours skin contact time to get that beautiful blushing pink hue and a little extra flavour. Fermented dry, this wine looks and tastes of spring. Ideal over lunch, or as Stephanie says “the perfect afternoon tea wine”.

Tasting Notes

Bright blushing pink.

The aroma offers a gorgeous melange of ripe red berries, musk and spring floral notes.

In the mouth it is vibrant and lively, crisp and zesty with a delicate, crunchy finish. A serious rosé where the distinctive fruit aromas carry through to the mineral-rich palate reminiscent of serious European rosé. Pair with Mediterranean dishes, nicely chilled. Delicious.
