A contender for one of the country’s best expressions of Semillon, distinct from Hunter of course, showing sweet but fresh lemon fruit characters, some light grassiness, verbena herbal characters and a core of light, saline mineral character. It’s got some depth and a wave of freshness on hand. It drinks a charm now but will evolve well in cellar too.
