This cool season has coaxed a wonderful fragrance and graceful tension from Clare Semillon and Stephanie has crafted one of her most elegant, alluring, indeed Rieslingesque to date. Lemon, lemon grass and granny smith apple blossom flow into a palate of beautifully-defined natural acidity. Oak fermentation and maturation build grip and structure to a long finish, insisting on time to soften and mellow.
