2017 Mount Horrocks Cordon Cut Riesling
By Campbell Mattinson
The famous Mount Horrocks Cordon Cut. Intensely sweet and limey with a marmalade jam character and plenty of sweet, crystalline flavour to the finish. We always sit here, when assessing dessert wines, toying with the word cloying; this wraps its arms around the word, without quite touching it. Geez it goes close though. Simple but impressively intense.
