Hand-picked from Stephanie’s low yielding vineyard, the ferment is gently plunged 3-4 times a day. The wine then spends 18 months maturation in French barriques, 35% of which are new. This is a textbook cabernet that displays the hallmarks of high quality fruit and attention to winemaking detail. Single vineyard, organically grown, this is a powerful wine from an extremely low yielding vintage.

Tasting Notes:

Deep, dark cabernet colour along with typical aromas of dried leaf, herb and black currant. Elegant and long, these characters are reflected on the palate to display an impressive varietal display wrapped in fine-grained, chalky tannins for great texture and length. Poised, stylish and cellar-worthy. Now to 2035.
